LS Calcul is a program that presents different series of mental arithmetic problems in order to help students and teachers alike to practice. It includes arithmetical operations like: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. It can be customized to set a range of numbers for the calculation exercises as well as other options.
After setting up the exercises, the program shows two numbers or fractions respectively, and then the users have to enter the answer. Depending on if the response is right or wrong, a different audio feedback is emitted by the program, and in the end the program will show the percentage of correct responses.
To make the process more challenging and even fun, users can play against others setting a time limit to deliver a correct answer. Also there’s a possibility to practice the four basic arithmetical operations mixed up. The interface is simple, and exercise setup is really easy and pretty self-explanatory.
LS Calcul interface and sounds are available in 10 languages making LS Calcul a useful international tool that can be used by almost anyone.
